Data Recovery From Packard Bell PCs

PACKARD BELL IXTREME:

I have a Packard Bell Ixtreme computer which I have been using for only a short while. The problems occurred shortly after set up, when I had installed some software and programs which are quite costly. I was completing the installation of one of the programs when I was asked to create a password for the PC. I started to write something in the box, but suddenly the computer crashed, and I didn’t complete the password. I now can’t get it to return to that password page, and so when the computer asks me for the password to enter my OS, I am completely stuck. As the system is so new, I could do another install from the OS disk, but it would mean losing all of the software and data that has cost me a substantial sum.

PACKARD BELL IXTREME:

I have been using a Packard Bell Ixtreme for several months without an issue, until last week when it suddenly died on me. I am getting the black screen of death when I start up the computer, and there is an odd whirring noise coming from the inside of the tower enclosure. I didn’t know what it was, and so I asked a PC tech friend, who suggested that I might be having a problem with the hard drive, and that I have probably lost everything which was on the drive, hence the black screen. I have a lot of data stored on the hard drive, plus a lot of computer tools and programs which I have bought. I don’t want to lose any of that.
